Written during a bumper mango harvest in Siem Reap Cambodia
I’m currently reading The Expectation Effect by David Robson which came via a recommendation from Mark Manson (the guy who wrote “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck”). I’m barely into the second chapter but it’s definitely my kind of read.
The local supermarket had a deal on pumpkins recently which they were selling for 20 cents a kilo - a crazy low price for fresh vegetables. Never cooked with pumpkin before so I got some pumpkin curry on the go and it’s pretty good, kinda like a middle ground between white potato and sweet potato.
Been experimenting with using Telegram as a front end for software projects and wow it saves so much time. If you’re building an app which delivers mainly text, or hooks into a LLM with a chat like interface then I highly recommend it for speed and convenience.
